The room where the charts stay on paper
The candle desk is a long lacquered table in one room. Candlestick pattern interpretation happens here with printed bars, a pencil, and enough quiet to hear the ruler.
What is set at each chair
A cream print, a graphite pencil, an eraser, and a short ruler. A small copper ring keeps the sheet from curling under the lamp. Water is in a smoked-glass tumbler. The sideboard holds spare SET50 and gold dailies for anyone who came without a chart of their own. Phones have a tray by the door for the first markup; they can come back out after the tea break if a student wants to compare a date, and only then.

Prices before names
Open, high, low, and close go in the margin before a pattern word is spoken.
Wick against body
The ruler comes out. A long wick is a measurement, then a sentence, then — maybe — a name.
Quiet at the start
The first twenty minutes are for writing. Questions wait until Nicha or Arun walks the table.
The next bar is still blank
A name describes bars already printed. The following session is not on the sheet, and the class does not invent it.
What to carry in
A pencil you like, an eraser, and any daily chart of at least sixty bars, with the instrument written on the cover in your hand. Wear something comfortable for two and a half hours; Kittipong was right about the chairs. If you are coming for a markup hour rather than the course, limit the stack to twenty or thirty bars so the seventy-five minutes can finish.

Candle Desk Course
6, 8, 13, 15, 20 and 22 October 2026 · 18:30–21:00 · Eight seats
Tuesday and Thursday evenings across three weeks. A named seat is held once the deposit on the rate sheet is paid. The room is reset for class, so afternoon markup pauses on these dates.
Pattern clinic
Friday 9 October 2026 · 18:30–20:30 · Ten seats
The October clinic stays with hammers and hanging men. Students compare the shared shape and then look at the swing that came before it. A later clinic will take a different family.
Chart markup appointment
Tuesday and Thursday afternoons · 14:00–17:00, one student · One student
Bring twenty to thirty daily bars on paper. During the October desk course, afternoon appointments pause so the long table can be laid for the evening. Other weeks are booked by phone.
