Candle Desk Course
The Candle Desk Course is the academy’s main enrolment: six Tuesday and Thursday evenings in which adults learn to describe candlestick structure on printed daily charts before they attach a pattern name.

Who it is for
It is for people in Samut Prakan and Bangkok who already look at a daily chart — office staff, shop owners, retirees — and who mix up hammers with hanging men, or call every small body a doji. It suits someone who can spare three weeks of evenings. It is a poor fit for someone who wants a stranger to name a trade for tomorrow morning.
In the seat fee
- Six evenings, 18:30 to 21:00, with a tea break
- A printed pack of SET50 and gold daily bars, about eighty sessions, with no marks from the academy
- A numbered place at the long table and quiet time to mark with a pencil
- One return visit of about forty minutes within thirty days, to re-read a chart the student marked at home
Left with the student
- Orders, broker accounts, and any instruction to buy or sell
- Intraday screens and group chats about live prices
- A statement about where the next bar will print
The six evenings

Four prices
Open, high, low, and close. Students draw the body, add the wicks, and write the four prices in the margin before anyone says a pattern name.

The wick as a rejected price
A small ruler compares wick length with body length. A long upper wick on a bar that closed near the low is described in words before it is named.

Single-candle names
Doji, spinning top, marubozu, hammer, and hanging man. The hammer and the hanging man share a silhouette; the prior swing decides which name is even worth saying.

Two-candle pairs
Engulfing pairs, piercing line, and dark cloud cover. The second body has to cover the first body. Wicks are noted, and a gap is written in the margin only when the print shows one.

Three-candle sequences
Morning star and evening star. The middle bar has to be small. If the middle bar is just another ordinary day, the sequence keeps its silence.

A week in context
Five to ten daily bars read together: where price sat before the shape, whether the range was wide or pinched, and what the student will look for on the next print. The sheet stays a description of bars already on the page.
How the hour is spent
Reserve the name
Write or telephone with the seating you want. We reply within two working days and hold the place once the 2,500 THB deposit arrives.
Arrive before the lamps are low
Come by 18:20. Collect the chart pack from the sideboard, sit at the numbered place, and start the quiet markup.
Leave with a marked sheet
Each evening ends with the sheet you marked, not with an order. The sixth evening closes on a week of bars read together, and the return visit is booked before you go.
Before you come
Bring a graphite pencil, an eraser, and, if you have one, a daily chart of at least sixty bars with the instrument name written on the cover in your own hand. Students who arrive without a print use the academy pack.
Limits of the room
The room holds eight. Instruction is in English. During the first twenty minutes phones stay in bags. A seat is confirmed when the deposit is paid and the academy replies in writing. The October 2026 seating runs on 6, 8, 13, 15, 20 and 22 October.
